Inspired Events may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.


Inspired Events will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if an event is cancelled without a postponement date, unless by Force Majeure (please read Force Majeure conditions). If a cancellation refund is applicable you must apply for a refund within one month of cancellation of the event. Inspired Events NZ does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances.

Force Majeure: due to a major unexpected event, like an earthquake or pandemic, to name a few, a refund less any expenses, if any, incurred by Inspired Events will be applicable, at the discretion of Inspired Events NZ Limited. Inspired events will only replace lost, stolen, damaged tickets if the authenticity of the ticket can be verified, giving reasonable notice before the event. Inspired Events will charge a reasonable administration fee for the replacement of tickets. Inspired Events may from time to time change the event speaker and/or the event venue, due to unforeseen circumstances. Notice of such changes will be communicated to ticket holders. No refunds will be applicable in those circumstances if you wish to cancel.


Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances by Inspired Events or the venue. Should this occur, Inspired Events typically only offers refunds based on a cancelled event that has no postponement date or is a Force Majeure (please read the Force Majeure terms and conditions).


For events cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by Inspired Events and a postponement date is not available, ticket holders will be offered an alternative event up to the same value. If that ticket holder is unable or unwilling to attend that alternative event they will receive a refund.

If a person wishes to cancel their ticket or our service due to their own personal reasons the following refund conditions apply:

  • 10-0 days prior to event No Refund
  • 11-21 days from event Refund less expenses incurred by Inspired events
  • 22 + days Refund less administration fee of $10


Should an event be postponed, that ticket value will be held in credit to be used at the next scheduled event or a future event at the discretion of Inspired Events.

Should any of the above occur we will attempt to contact you to inform you.


Inspired Events NZ Limited (known as Inspired Events & Inspiring Me Now) organises and hosts events in New Zealand. We understand that you may not want to share personal details, that is why we ensure that you have control of your information. It is important that you review this policy for information on how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you access and use our website, apps and/or services.

We comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws of New Zealand when dealing with personal information. By using or accessing any website, app or service in the Inspired events network, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy.


We may change this policy or our Terms of Service by uploading a revised policy or Terms of Service onto our website and that change will apply from the date that we upload the revised policy or Terms of Service. Please refer to this policy on an ongoing basis. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

You do not have to provide us with a username or email address to browse our websites. That would only be applicable to join the membership login portal or to set up an account with us. When you access or use the Inspired Events Network you provide us with information, both personal information that is collected by us and you knowingly choose to disclose as well as usage information collected by us as you interact with our Inspired Events website, social media, apps or services.

When you register with the Inspired Events Network, we require you to provide an email address and other contact information including your name, and optionally set up a user profile. When you access or use the Inspired Events Network we collect and store your information within your profile for your future reference. This information is used by Inspired Events for any bookings you make via the Inspired Events network.

When logging in, if you choose the “Remember me on this computer” option, we use a cookie which is essential for enabling website functionality. That cookie stores your login to make it easier for you to login when you return to the Inspired Events Network. You have the ability not to accept cookies on your devices or you can disable, remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser.

If you purchase tickets or “other items” through the Inspired Events Network, you are required to provide us with your details. We use Stripe Payments to process all online transactions. Note that we do not have access to your credit card information.

If you create content on the Inspired Events Network that includes any personal information about anyone other than you, you must firstly obtain consent from the relevant individual or company to enable us to collect, use, process and store that information.

Any improper use of information provided on the Inspired Events Network or posting of Content that breaches any third party right (including Intellectual Property Rights and privacy rights) is a violation of the Inspired Events Terms, Conditions & Services and should be reported immediately to inspireatevents@gmail.com.

All personal information collected is from you when you provide that personal information to us through any subscription & registration process across the Inspired Events network, through contact with us including telephone call, email or when you buy or use of our services and products. That includes any third parties where you have authorised this.

If you have any concerns regarding your personal information included in Content created by any other users, please contact us immediately inspireatevents@gmail.com.

Your personal information may be used by us to provide our services including website & apps to you, including newsletters, upcoming event notifications or services offered.

When you either create an account or purchase a ticket, you will automatically be subscribed to our database email list. You can stop receiving our newsletters or emails by following the process on our emails to “unsubscribe” or through your profile settings.


At no time is your email address displayed to anyone on the Inspired Events Network, unless you include it in Content that you post or have authorised a 3rd party to do so. The only details visible to others particularly on social networking websites are those details you choose to supply.

If you post Content on the Inspired Events Network, you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you review your Content before posting it to ensure that you are not posting information you do not want to make public.

No security measures are perfect, therefore we cannot and do not guarantee that Content you post on the Inspired Events Network will not be viewed by any unauthorised persons.

We are not responsible nor liable for any difficulties incurred on any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Inspired Events Network, noting that even after removal, copies of Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages for some time.

  • in the case of a sale, merger, or acquisition
  • when authorised by you
  • you authorise Inspired Events (verbal or written) to use your personal bio, photo, use of
  • your Logo and Name, business name, for the purpose of networking to other Inspired Events members or group, or other activities/groups including advertising and marketing


Your personal information on the Inspired Events Network can be controlled by you and is available through the profile editing tools where account users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time. Information will be updated immediately. To remove your details completely, you can cancel your account at any time by using the ‘cancel my account’ feature in your profile settings. You can also opt out of emails by following the “unsubscribe” process on the email received from Inspired Events.


We take all reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, misuse or unauthorised activity. You can keep your personal information as secure as possible by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used in relation to Inspired Events products and services. Notify us immediately if there is any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.


Your use of Inspired Events website, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law.
